Airport Capability

PCAir & Ground Power

Coordination and freight support for pre-conditioned air and 400 Hz ground power equipment used at commercial airport gates.

Gate infrastructure that has to be there on schedule.

ACS supported freight and delivery coordination for ground power units and pre-conditioned air (PCAir) equipment as part of project work at Norfolk International Airport. That work involved scheduling delivery activity around gate availability and airport access windows for equipment that has to arrive and be staged correctly the first time.

400 Hz ground power lets a parked aircraft run cabin systems without its own auxiliary power unit; PCAir supplies climate-controlled air to the cabin the same way. Both are gate-critical, schedule-sensitive equipment categories.
